As a Measurer, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and documenting dimensions, quantities, and other specifications for various construction projects. Your role is critical in ensuring precise measurements are obtained to support project planning, design, and execution.

Responsibilities:
- Measurement and Documentation:
- Use appropriate tools and equipment to measure dimensions, areas, volumes, and angles for construction projects.
- Record accurate measurements and other relevant data, including quantities of materials, site conditions, and project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, drawings, and specifications while conducting measurements.
- Site Surveys and Assessments:
- Conduct on-site surveys and assessments to gather necessary information for measurements, such as site layout, existing structures, and utilities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to determine measurement requirements and priorities.
- Quality Control and Assurance:
- Verify the accuracy and integrity of measurement data to ensure adherence to project standards and specifications.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in measurements promptly and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and measurement logs to record measurement results, observations, and relevant project information.
- Communicate measurement data, findings, and recommendations effectively to project teams, supervisors, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing measurements, ensuring personal safety and the safety of others on the construction site.
- Comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to measurement techniques and equipment usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional technical education or certification in surveying, measurement technology, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in construction measurement, surveying, or related field.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment, such as tape measures, laser levels, total stations, and GPS devices.
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording measurements and data.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
