Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage sports programs in alignment with organizational goals and community needs.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of sports programs, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and execution of activities.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate coaching staff, instructors, and program personnel.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including community organizations and schools, to expand program offerings and partnerships.
- Manage program budgets, allocate resources effectively, and seek funding opportunities or sponsorships to support initiatives.
- Evaluate program effectiveness, collect feedback, and implement improvements to enhance program quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and policies in all program activities.
- Represent the organization in sports-related events, meetings, and conferences as a spokesperson and advocate.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Physical Education, or related field; master’s degree is advantageous.
- Proven experience in program development, management, or sports administration.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Budget management and financial acumen for effective resource allocation.
- Knowledge of sports rules, regulations, and trends in the sports industry.
